Facets of Mind is a place where I will publish short stories, dialogs, and other philosophical ramblings in the form of allegory.

What is Allegory

Allegory is using personae to symbolize and bring to life different ideas and philosophies. Two of the key characters that will definitely bring to like the allegory and likely persist the life of this blog are the Optimist and the Cynic. These are two extreme outlooks on life. Neither one alone will let you walk through life successfully and both need to be in balance to succeed, yet alone, both can tell interesting stories. Tomorrow you will meet both of them and hopefully can relate, at least partially, to them.
